Rutin · Last updated 11 June 2026
The short version: Rutin is built to keep your data on your device. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. We — the developer — never receive or store your routines, times, or any personal information.
Nothing on our servers. Rutin does not have a backend that we control, and we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. You don't create an account to use Rutin.
Rutin's suggestions (timing tune-ups, catch-ups, and category hints) are produced by Apple's on-device foundation models. This processing happens locally on your iPhone. Your task names and times are not sent to us or to any third party for this.
Rutin Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the transaction and your payment details; we never see your payment information. We only receive the anonymous confirmation that an entitlement is active, which Apple verifies on your device.
If you allow notifications, Rutin schedules local reminders on your device about when to start. These are generated and delivered on-device and are not sent through our servers.
Rutin contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not use the Advertising Identifier and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Rutin is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. Because we don't collect any personal data, none is collected from children.
Since your data never leaves your control, you can delete it at any time by deleting your routines in the app, or by deleting the app (which removes the on-device data). To remove iCloud copies, sign in to iCloud and manage Rutin's data in iOS Settings.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised version at this URL.
